No, but I know this is a very strange thing to say and I know... I just know that people who have already experienced it will tell me I should never say this, but back off okay... I do actually want to experience it once in my life just to see how it is, I have watched youtube videos of a channel called Daidus and he described his experience with it, which made me curious about how it would be, because I also had stories from friends in my previous school that got it a lot and they said they didn't get any serious issues other than not being able to move for a long time, so no nightmare apparitions or anything.
But every time I say I would like to experience it, someone always says you never want to experience it or it isn't that big a deal, well guess what? I want that experience too, so that I can also see how it is, I don't want an opinion on those things, I want to determine how my own feelings react to it, not yours.

Yes I have and that's one of the most freakiest things in the world is trying to move trying to yell trying to do anything and you can't do it I mean not even a sound come out of your voice is you open your mouth you just trying to force air out even baby doesn't happen
ALL THE TIME!! In the beginning it was really scary, but I've had it now for years, and probably have experienced it over 50 times (at least). My heart starts racing, I see things that aren't there, hear things, feel things etc. A lot of times I realize it's happening and don't feel as scared as I used to. The other day I saw my dad in another room down the hallway (he was really there) and a woman in the middle of my room, who wasn't there. I realized right away that she wasn't real. I have a method now to snap out of it.
I've had many experiences that I can go into more details with if you're interested in it.
The worst thing for me was waking up and not being able to move. When I opened my eyes I saw this.

Have experienced it a number of times and as you say can be quite terrifying. My first experience of it was as a child. I awoke not being able to move but there was a scaly skinned humanoid figure at the bottom of the bed with burning red eyes. I can remember the terror I felt and I must have screamed or cried out as the next thing was my mum and dad trying to comfort me. That's the only time I've seen a figure. Other times it's that feeling of not being able to move like there is someone or something in the bed holding me. Hate it.
I have , its a horrible feeling , usually for me comes in a dream , and Im in a car lying down and I can't get up to get in the front seat and drive , eventually I can really focus and tell myself I can move , and I launch up and wake up in a sweat , with..
Whoooooooo , deep breathe , its really frightening , you literally cannot move.Yup many times... it was terrifying at times i felt like I was being possessed... Luckily i didn't have for a good time now... It normally happens with me if i sleep when I'm very tired or the opposite very not-tired... Or when I fell asleep by accident and sleep heavily.. Or when I'm very pissed and angry before I sleep..
Many, many times.

Fell asleep after a awhile and when i woke up again everything was back to normalYes , on occasion , I think stress may trigger the motor neuron temporary shutdown , yes it is scary , esp for a very independent & self reliant type , like myself.
Yes actually I do get that every now and then. I remember the first time it happened that I was around maybe 22 and I thought it was very strange. I was like in a state between sleeping and being awake, and I could NOT move.
Yeah a fair bit.
it’s either normal nightmares, nightmares within nightmares, or for pure shits n giggles, sleep paralysis.
my worst ever was as a kid and a figure on the stairs talking to me.Yes, I've had a couple and it's absolutey terrifying.
Yes its scary.. I have many times.. one worst experience was when I woke up but there was absolutely no connection of myself with my body like an out of body experience.. I didn't know what to do other than waiting and it was so scary... then i suddenly felt a zoop sound and I felt like I was inside my body again..
Once, a few years ago. I could've experienced it again a few months ago, but that time felt more like a dream than sleep paralysis. 🤔
Yes, I did that when I was on a website, I woke up and saw the site but could not say or do anything, it was scary as crap.

I assumed everyone did as. part of a sleep pattern. Is that not the case?
Oh yeah! Had one recently too. I think a few days ago. I'm just sad I don't have them more often though. I enjoy having them as well as nightmares.
Yeah, when a bunch of aliens abducted and experimented on me.
