Keep yourself busy, exercise, do things you love and try to focus at the solutions instead of thinking of the problem. For example if you wanna lose weight don't focus at how tiring it is and that it takes time instead focus at the idea that you'll start losing weight and gaining muscles and you'll be looking amazing. If you overthink things you did in the past focus on what you'll do in the future and how you'll be doing better. I don't know just focus at the opposite thoughts of your negative thoughts it works for me

Try to improve the quality of your thoughts first over the quantity. Overanalysis done properly leads to increasingly correct solutions, like a mathematical solution accompanied by multiple proofs of its correctness. It only wastes a bit of time.
A poor analysis leads to increasingly incorrect/improbable solutions because it's usually motivated not by a desire to seek correctness but by emotional temptations like fear, guilt, embarrassment, etc.
I recommend looking into things like Stoicism, Buddhism, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. They will help you improve the quality of your thoughts. You might still think a lot but you can do it in a way that produces better and better conclusions:
Simplify and focus on what's directly Infront of you. Refuse thinking about later, or what may come next. Overthinking is not something to overcome it's simply something you must choose not to do.
(Ps: it's really fucking hard to do. You just got to catch yourself as you start to sink into it)
For me anything that involves getting your thoughts out of your head works best. Whether its writing, drawing, talking to a friend about it, doesn't matter. When you keep things in your head it creates clutter and its harder to look at the bigger picture. Also make yourself an organised routine involving exercise, meditation and a good diet. It will do wonders.

I usually drink alcohol haha, not the best solution. Try reading a book, watch tv, exercising, masturbating, hang out with friends, meditation. The Tibetan or Buddhist monks say that your thoughts are like balls bouncing around in your head. You have to get rid of all the distracting thoughts by concentrating on your breathing only when meditating.
Overwhelmed. You are only capable of doing so much at once. Take time for breaks and do nothing for a few moments each day. Let things settle into place.
Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, structuring your day with activities
First "catch" yourself and realize you're starting to do it (not after), and then find something else to distract yourself. Recognize and will power.
It might help having somebody to talk to you once a week at least
Meditating will do you wonders. You can't block thoughts from entering your head, but you can learn not to acknowledge them. Ignore them and they will leave.
Here are my suggestions :
1. Keep yourself busy as much as you can so as to not overthink.
2. Write your thoughts down.It is an indication of some disorders. Get professional medical advice. The digital devices have done a job on your brain.
Depends. What do you "overthink" about?
If there was a solution to this, I would implement it
I just keep myself distracted
I have no idea I suffer from this problem too 🥺🥺
