Can bad eyes cause frequent headaches?

I'm getting my eyes checked for the first time tomorrow. When I got my license in 2017 I could see well with my left eye when they did the eye check for my right side of my eye and I thought they made it hard for no reason. I blamed the DOT people then they were like as long as one eye is clear but they said to get it checked. I definitely put it off but it's gotten progressively worse. My left eye isn't much better but it's more clear than the right.

I notice myself squinting a lot trying to read, far away. I can see close up but if I cover my left eye with my hand It's a tad blurry.

Eye health is nutritional (most of the time). Glasses only address the symptoms of that nutritional problem, and further weaken the eyes. I bet you get barely any vitamin C daily... zero organic sulfur, hardly any iodine etc. A lot of the time oxidative stress in the eyes can cause such problems, but opticians ignore all of that and give you stronger prescriptions every time... a great money maker and guaranteed repeat business. The glasses weaken the eye muscles... and in turn the weaker muscles cause poorer eyesight, and then your current prescription becomes obsolete and you get a stronger one. Rinse and repeat.

There are ways of accelerating the healing of the eye. I used to wear reading glasses... no longer need them. My left eye used to be weaker, it's fine now.

Your frequent headaches may be eye related, but they could just as easily be nutrition related too. Insufficient magnesium and dehydration... which can also be linked to the eye issues.

Yeah. Unfortunately it’s been going on for me for too long to where now I “naturally” strain my eyes and it’s hard to go to “normal” so I get a lot of headaches. Plus, I have dry eyes, cataracts and moderate glaucoma on top of being nearsighted
