Why is that my left eye is painful and I have headache?

There could be a few reasons why your left eye is painful and you have a headache:

- Eye strain - If you've been staring at screens like your phone or computer for a long time without taking breaks, it can cause eye strain and lead to headache and eye pain.

- Dry eyes - Not blinking enough when looking at screens or being in air conditioning can dry your eyes out, which causes discomfort.

- Migraine - Some migraine headaches cause pain localized around one eye. The symptoms often include light/sound sensitivity too.

- Allergies - Seasonal allergies can make your eyes itchy and puffy, leading to headache and eye pain.

- Conjunctivitis - An infection or inflammation of the conjunctiva (thin membrane that lines your eyelids and eyeball) usually causes redness, discharge, itching and pain in one or both eyes.

- Sinus issues - Pain and pressure from a sinus infection or congestion can radiate to your forehead and eyes.

- Eye injury - You might have gotten something in your eye or taken an accidental bump that's irritating it.

It could be fluid pressure inside your eye. Get it checked by an optometrist immediately! It destroys your optic nerve.
It happened to me and now I have glaucoma in one eye.

You should consult a doctor, there might be many solutions on internet but you won't know whats the problem and it might get worse.
