Are 6 inch wrists small?

I’m curious I’m 5ft 7 with a wrist circumference of 6 inches. Is this a little small for my height range? Is there anything I can do to strengthen them as I’ve always had strength issues with my wrists.

No thats medium/average wrist size. Bigger than mine and i'm a guy lol I think mine are 5 1/2 or a little less. You can't change wrist size, its bone. Its entirely genetic and having a medium bone frame means you can look bigger but not too big or small. Wrist is not muscle. The density of your wrist can only be slightly altered if you workout your arm muscles, but the size itself is permanent. Forearm curls can help make the wrist bone a little stronger, but the wrist itself has no strength. The strength from your arms comes from biceps, triceps, and forearm muscles.

It’s not often that I’ve heard someone be concerned about that. There are exercises of course, but in the grand scheme of things I’ve never given much thought to it. Certainly not enough to reject someone or dismiss them over it. If you feel bad about them that’s one thing, but if not I wouldn’t worry too much about how other people think of them.

The wrist size seems relatively normal. For strengthening them, it's mainly the forearm muscles that help protect and strengthen your wrist and grip. A piece of equipment I swear by and recommend is the Powerball:

Finding a boyfriend is a great way to strengthen wrists and forearms 😂 jk. Maybe check your BMI and see if you’re around where you should be for your height

That seems normal to me relative to size. As for strengthening them you really should talk to someone who's a physical therapist or other expert in musculature to see what exercises are available

There are lots of things you can do to strengthen and build up your wrists and forearms.

The simplest exercises are dumbbell forearm curls, both palm up and palm down.
