It seems case-by-case to me. Maybe I need to try something more like walking. I'm a sprinter so I tend to favor sprint intervals. What I find is that if I was already in the zone for work before I started, I get more in the zone if I work out before. if I wasn't in the zone before, then I get even more out of the zone. I start watching fitness videos or something in between trying to work.
I usually always walk to work anyway which is at least 1½ miles, this is often after a workout as well, and I'm a machine at work, despite all the time I spend on here during work hours 😂, I still manage to be to most productive researcher in my department.

Iād feel exhausted if i worked out before work. If i was working an afternoon/nightshift then sure but working at 7am, nah
I find myself fresh in the morning when I do all of the routine just after waking up. Not like slumping and all. I am just typing this sitting. The time now is 11:52 AM in India.
We have off today, so just chilling for now.

I swim in the mornings, so yes I think it's the same, sort of. Also coffee!
I get up at 5AM and workout. I find it makes me more productive.
