I either call it my abdomen, in any medical setting, and even divide it into quadrants; LUQ (left upper quadrant), RUQ, LLQ, and RLQ, or in most other settings, I just say “my tummy”. My “stomach” refers to a specific organ within my abdomen, so I just don’t want to confuse. It probably came as a result of having a mother who is a doctor. Whenever she asked “where does it hurt” if I said “my stomach” she always made me specify whether I was referring to my actual stomach or my abdomen in general… I guess I just got used to using medical/biological terminology before I was 5 or 6.
Currently "pudge" because of how it sticks out and mocks me with fat :|
But for the most part, I just refer to it as a stomach.
If I am referring to other's abdomen. My self it is stomach.
Tum Tum because it tends to catch people off guard.
