When I get any kind of weird skin irritation I just wash it with soap and water, then leave it alone. At most I might put some rubbing alcohol to kill any bacteria, or some polysporin.
Do you bandage it?
You could if you want, but I don't.
Sometimes after working outside all day I will notice some hives or a rash from coming in contact with something. My thought is to wash that area good to remove whatever is irritating it. I wash my arms and just forget about it. Usually whatever it is is healed up by the next day.
If it's bug or spider bites I wash and pat it with those 70% alcohol swabs.
If you washed your leg, disinfected it, and stopped touching it completely for a week and the rash is still there, then obviously it's something trickier that's gonna need a prescription.
If it's scabbing up that's probably a sign that you did the damage scratching it. Hopefully it will just clear up.
That doesn't look like a rash if you were scratching a lot it could scar but at the same time it looks like you fell or scratched yourself with concrete or something scrapey
Should I continue using petroleum jelly
