Uterine transplantation for transgender women?

I have recently read a medical journal about a Dr who is trying to seek legal premision to conduct a legally sanctioned uterus transplant on one of his transgender woman patients.

Being a transwoman i have often dreamed of the chance to get pregnant and carry my own child. At the beginning of my transition, i was given the option to freeze my sperm. And if this procedure was to be made a viable option for transwomen then maybe with the correct doeses of hormone medication and medical support, maybe other transwomen throughout the world may just be able to live out the dream that i am sure many of us can only hope for.

What are your thoughts?

Some women do some women dont want children and if the choice can be given that is a great thing. Also its probably not only about transgender that research can help every women who potantially can't have children.

Uterine transplants are a frequent procedure in cis women, however for trans women its a little more difficult for obvious reason.
As I've breifly touched on, this could be a potential god send to help transwomen with their dysphoria.
Ever since i can remember I've always dreamed of being able to carry my own child, even if it means C-Section and IVF treatment.
