Do you work out?

I've recently been working out waaaaaay less than usual, but for most of my life I've been very much an athlete. I tend to change it up, I like different types of activities for balance. Here are some snapshots of different routines/levels of workout I've had:
A: 4-6 times/ week at the gym for ~75 minutes each time. Free weights and some machines, followed by floor work with kettlebells, heavy bag (boxing/martial arts) work, and some calisthenics, or stuff like planks, Turkish get ups. Also futbol/soccer 2X /week for ~90 minutes. Plus some light dog walking (2-3 miles).

B: In Rio, I went to the jujitsu dojo most mornings (5-6 X/week) for 1-2 hours, plus I did a capoeira class one night a week, 2 hours. Lots of walking every day, I would only take a bus if my destination was more than 4 km away, or I had to be somewhere quickly (I was on vacation, so usually not an issue).
C: I had cardio kickboxing and ocean swimming class, back to back. This was really tiring, about 4 hours of workout with a 20 minute break to get from one to the next. (I also had to get on a wetsuit in that time). I did this twice a week and a few hikes and walking, but I felt like I was in great shape with my stamina.

D: Hiking, which I time and push to go as fast as I can, running uphill at some points, 3-4X/week. Plus I go rowing in the ocean now and again, I try to go at least once/week. Also do pushups, mostly at work when I have a second. I will start as low as 10, and work up to as many as 50 at a time. I'll also do incline pushups once I get good at them to work different muscle groups.

E: As a firefighter, I would generally hike with my crew every morning, with ~50 lbs or more of gear, tools (like a 25 lb chainsaw). These hikes were sometimes done "free for all" style, at which point I would push as hard as I could and be one of the first to the top. Other times we hike "as a crew" and stay in line. Usually the hike is 30-40 minutes, but some are over an hour. After the "PT hike" we would work around the station, but often get a fire call, or have forest projects, and that's more physical exertion. Running chainsaw, hauling brush, cutting line. Usually for around 4-6 hours, then back to base to clean up and do tool maintenance. We would also often wind down the day with an hour or so of volleyball or another sport. If it's a fire, we could be there for several days, working 16 hours each day. Sometimes in extreme situations we would do 24 hours in initial attack but that's pretty rare and even then there are some opportunities for a break now and then.
My knees are developing some arthritis and I cannot engage in many of the activities that I dd previously. However, I have an office on the second floor of a building and there is no elevator, and I am going up and down stairs constantly. It is uncomfortable for my knees but I know I need to keep exercising them.
Yeah, I don't work out at the gym though. I work out at work and at home. At work I'm always on my feet. I work with kids, so some I'll pick up or have to run after and play with them. At home we have some working out equipment which use sometimes but my main home work out is stacking wood. Sometimes carrying heavy stumps or rolling them and they give you quite a work out.
You're such a inspiration
I do as much natural exercise (like going for long walks) as I can. I can't be bothered with gymnasiums and all their fancy equipment.

Yes, resistance training cause I prefer being toned / speed over bulk. I also don't like advertising how strong I am so if another guy underestimates me he'll live to regret it. I still spar now & then with some friends from my judo days when I was younger as well to stay sharp.
Yeah mainly running, although been lazy lately ( I ripped a calf muscle).
it’s a mix of running in forest trails and beach run, also home gym and some stuff we set up in the forest.
Also back to mountain biking locally.
Yeah, feels good. So much better than eating sugar and gaining weight... jfc ignorance is not bliss sometimes.
