I get heap of earwax every few months that impacts my hearing how do others that get it deal with getting it often?

I currently am having excess earwax I had it last week then for a few day it was ok but then it became bad once again

I have the same problem, and there's only two ways that I know, to get rid of it.

The first is to buy earwax drops from the pharmacy, which are supposed to soften it, and make it come out on it's own. I haven't had much luck with that, though.

What I did was buy an ear irrigation kit, which is basically a spray bottle with a hose attatched to it. You fill it with a 1:1 solution of warm water and peroxide, then use the hose to flush out your ear. That's what they do in a doctor's office, and it works alright.

If you go with the irrigation, though, make sure you use warm water. Cold water can cause a bitch of a vertigo spell. Found that out the hard way

Little blue syringe and distilled water carefully squeezed in my ear 👂 is what I do. You can hire an OCD friend to pull it out…with your Jungle of ear hair holding all that wax in there….

Start by assessing whether or not your activities are contributing to the wax build up. If you’re frequently using ear plugs or spend time outside in windy conditions, This is likely exacerbating the problem. You might want to look into making an appointment with the ear nose and throat doctor or at minimum flushing your ears out with a solution once a week in the shower. Ear candles can be kind of fun as well.

I rarely go out but my diet is bad I have a phobia of putting things in my ears so everytime I need to get it syringed out I panic so I try and put it off as long as possible

I would contact my doctor and see if there are any sort of ear drops or something that you could use to prevent buildup.

I use a bulb syringe and warm water. I put my head in the sink and rinse it until the big gobs of wax come out.

You can dissolve ear wax by using sodium bicarbonate ear drops.

I clean my ears almost every day because I get a lot too so it doesn’t get that bad
