Girls, anyone suffering from PCOS?

I've had PCOS for years. Taking hormonal pills to manage it lead to me having hypertension, so I stopped taking them. Any of you who has lived with PCOS, what have you done naturally to treat PCOS?

You have likely had it since puberty. I was placed on birth control to start my period. However, just like you it caused my bp to skyrocket. My doctor told me that it is the estrogen in the pills that cause the bp to increase. I tried a brand of pills that had less estrogen but I was still having high bp readings. Then my doctor put me on strictly progesterone only. This was the Depo Prevera birth control injection every 12 weeks. Since I never had any intentions on having kids so I stayed on it for 15 years. I was taken off of the shot because Depo Provera eats away at your bone density. I was switched to a Mirena IUD and will keep that until I complete menopause.
