Did you ever get so nasty greasy dirty that you had to use dish soap to bath with?

I was so grimy and greasy today. That regular soap was not cutting it. Dish soap was the only thing that took it off in the shower.

I would use when i was working bio janitorial services, cleaned hoarders' homes, mold, crime scenes and so on... Though I was wearing full PPE you get really sweaty with all that on for hours.. especially with respirator. dish soap has a strong odor to it which helps mask certain smells that are stuck in your nose all day if you were just wearing a mask instead of respirator.

I find Lava bar soap and a Brillo pad on knees and elbows. I have literally used orange hand cleaner as a body wash.

Plenty of times. Between growing up in farm country, to having parents flipping homes (and me being handy helping with repairs), to knowing more about cars than my brother & oftentimes having to change the oil and/or even put in antifreeze, etc as he can't/won't.

I hear you—- use dish soap by default from childhood, when I worked on farms. I use dish soap then moisturizing soap bc dish soap dries out the skin 🥵

My parents in law owns some woods so when am there helping chopping and all that i get a mix of mud and tar all over my body. Not even a daish soap could help 🤣

But filling a bathtub and sitting in it helped more

No. But, once I ran out of body wash and dish soap was the only thing I had in my apartment as a substitute. 😂

sure. I used to have this special soap that I used on grease and paint. It was effective and had stuff in it so my skin would not fall apart.

You can get stuff for times like that, Swarfega is popular. Another trick is wet sand. Believe it or not vaginal mucus cuts through the dirt better than anything

Almost, I had to use orange pumice hand cleaner on my hands, arms and face before going into the shower, sweating while working on a car’s broken cv axle joint is not a good combination

Yup fairly common in my line of work that's why we got a bottle at every plant.

I didn't need to bath with it though just use it on my arms and hands.

I used to be a mechanic on semi trucks, and I had to use Wisk detergent to get my hair clean.
Even after you steam cleaned them the were still greasy.

I don’t get like that but I use it anyway Dawn liquid antibacterial dish soap to wash its more powerful than regular bar soap
