Is animal allergy such a weird allergy?

That's my only allergy. I've always been allergic to animals, esp furred mammals. If I ever visited someone's house and only spent a couple minutes petting a cat or dog, I would get hives spreaded the next day, itching like crazy.

It sucks because I actually do love many animals. Is this a weird allergy?

Nope, very common. I’m also crazy allergic to cats but my family still own cats. I just minimize contact with them even though I badly want to cuddle them…
