Would you ever try making your own dentures (false teeth)?

I never knew this existed before today, but apparently you can make your own false teeth.

The first president of the U. S., is famed for making his own dentures out of wood. In reality, Washington employed numerous full and partial dentures that were constructed of materials including human teeth, ivory, and metal alloys.

Upon researching the idea, it's actually not so far-fetched. Some of the materials, such as silicone to make an impression of your mouth, could be obtained very easily. All you really do is make an impression of your mouth, pour in some acrylic, and afix a tooth. If you get really good at it, you could make teeth for your cat.

And, some knowledgeable people even sell kits.

Kind of. I've tried fake nails for vampire teeth, but it's not perfect. I'm going to a cosmetic dentist next who will do veneers, or something like that. I'm also seriously debating dental implants.
