Whats the difference between being high on MJ and being on acid?

Dead-heads (grateful dead listeners), typically are acid users but, to me it just looks like the effects of both are the same

MJ has given me a crazy intense and psychedelic high, specifically my first time smoking it. I saw a super amazing silver multicolored diamond, and it was thumping throughout my existence. One of my friends kept thinking that the room was filled with smoke, and kept on freaking out because she thought that the house was on fire.

LSD is far more psychedelic, like, shit I was looking at melted, and became new things that were completely unrelated. I saw chairs become statues, and those statues became people, and those people told me about the unstoppable end of humanity, and the logic behind choosing love over hatred despite the unstoppable abyss.

Worlds apart with that kind of shit. LSD also made colors blend and move in super crazy ass ways, and recolor the world.

MJ has never taken me that far. I did get high enough to think that a shadow become the grim reaper, and it was haunting me, but that's no where near as crazy as my LSD experience. For me, LSD was full throttle, all immersive.

OMG, they are nowhere near the same. In terms of the effects they give, they are worlds apart.

You mean marijuana vs lsd? Marijuana just relaxes you and gives a small feeling of euphoria which is accompanied by things like short term memory loss, fatigue, impaired motor skills, and munchies. Otherwise the world around you is the same as your daily life. LSD is a hallucinogen. You will see, feel, and/or hear things that sober people do not. For example you might hear colors. Your face will melt if you look in the mirror. Cartoons might play on a textured wall. You might feel tapped into the life stream and feel connected with everything living around you, You might start predicting the future. You might take a spiritual journey. Sometimes that might be to a good place, other times it might be to an evil place. If you're not comfortable with altered states of consciousness and don't have a firm grip on reality you might lose your shit and end up thinking your are an orange and try to peel your skin off to get a drink. They are totally different experiences.

Acid Is much more of a hallucogenic then MJ
