You need to blow your nose, and as you do, some of the liquid comes out the corner of your eye. Is that gross or just acknowledgement that the nose and eye are connected internally via the sinus cavity?

The conjunctiva is connected to the nasal cavity via the nasolacrimal duct. The excess tears in the eye drain through that duct into the nasal cavity. If that duct gets blocked (e. g., scar tissue resulting from an infection,) the excess tears will simply run down your face. (I once had a cat with that problem; I called him Mr. Leaky Face.)
I've never blown my nose and hat stuff come out my eye. It sounds disgusting!
This only happens to me if I have a really bad cold but yes it is gross. Especially if it makes little bubbles.
I’ve never had that happen, but I have actually heard of someone being able to blow some air through their eye. I think there was a video on YT, I will look for it.
