Former obese person here. I guess it depends on the individual. I person didn't find overweight people attractive when I was fat. However! Because I knew someone fit and attractive wouldn't give me a second look, I knew I had to either "settle" for an overweight person, or lose weight- So I lost weight! No, not just for dating; that would be superficial as hell! But I will say when I was fat, I had low expectations in terms of who I deserved. Not sure if others feel that way or not.

I'm in between fat and skinny and the thing is that it purely depands on the person, they could be fat but if some specific traits stand out to me I'll find them attractive regardless if they are fat or skinny
