Should I only poop when I really need to go?

this is a super embarrassing question. But when I was younger in elementary school through Freshmen year in high school. I only pooped once every three days but when I had to go I HAD to go! Like praise dogging all the way home farting like crazy had to go lol. Sorey for being graphic. Anyways I had great relief after those poops and always felt 100% i noticed since then i poop much more frequently but I always feel like I'm never 100% empty. Its not even constipation I actually feel fine after. But it's not the sme relief! Plus I'm going up to twice a day. I've been thinking should I train my body to only poop when I really gotta go! I've been hesitant to do this because I really don't wanna have to take a huge dump in public for obvious reason. Or possibly have an accident. Though I almost feel like I need to. Im activate go to the gym maybe 10 hrs a week and am a healthy 225 (muscle weight at 6'2). So its not a sedatary issue. Its just I think I should only go when I really gotta go! I'm curious opinions on this lol! Little embarrassing but I wanna know if this is healthy.
