What do you use when you get sick? Do you stick to natural remedies (ex: tea) or do you reach for the drugs to ease your cold?

u +1 ywhenever I get a cold, they're usually very mild... just a mild headache, body feels funny and that's pretty much it, I usually ignore it but, if the upper respiratory starts to get annoying or something
first thing I'll do is to head to the cold showers, lmao... and then, right away to warm foods and drinks, chicken soup with veggies and potato, and also some chamomile tea if I am stuffy
I don't like pills at all... so the only reason for me to go with drugs would be if the headache had gotten really bad and my body temp really higher, but these instances are very very rare, lol20 Reply

+1 yI just wait it out for a few days. Let the body try to take care of the problem. Natural help from my side with fruits, and other things.
But if it is not working, I ask my parents and they prescribe medicines and I take them accordingly. But this stage rarely comes up.

+1 yWhen I'm sick, I drink lots of liquids, mostly water, hot chamomile tea with honey and lemon for a sore throat, and megadose on vitamin-C. If I have a headache, I might take 2 ibuprofen, but I generally stay away from drugs.

Yep, same here. Drugs are a last resort for me. I prefer to get rest and drink lots of tea. Thanks for the opinion!
Mint or lemon tea often do the trick. Sprite and some form of cracker. DayQuil and NyQuil if whatever it is is really bad. Tylenol for most other things.

I'm not One for baths, I prefer showers, but I found this bubble bath. It's a sage lavender mix. So relaxing. And we have a little place for a platter for wine and cheese and crackers. It's like our own little spa. Usually we're too busy to spend an hour in the tub but it's very relaxing and makes us feel better whenever we need a little extra boost.
