Be mindful that cramping can also come from endometriosis. Endometriosis is where the endometrial lining that is normally shed through the vagina escapes to other organs. Endometrial tissue can set up shop on the intestines, bladder, the ovaries and fallopian tubes to name a few places. Inside of these endometrial lesions contains estrogen. That lesion is fired up each month when a woman goes through a normal cycle. It is essentially like having cramps that are not contained within the uterus. Endometriosis is like cancer because it spreads and it wreaks havoc internally. There are not many surgeons in the US who are trained to remove these lesions. Endometriosis is the leading cause of infertility and its not caught before it becomes destructive.
But a/q WHO, endometriosis is very rare, affecting only 10% of the world.
It's a problem that needs to get checked if you have difficulty in daily activity
