Or does it depend on the severity of things? Your age, illness, what happens to you, etc?
in my case... the necessary habits and activities that have kept me physically healthier, fit and in shape, they do happen to be hobbies that I like a lot, love it actually, so... it doesn't feel anything like a struggle
meanwhile, mentally... I've had an array of challenges through my life that have certainly taken A LOT of progressive work over so many years, pretty much all my life as well, and that struggle has been very real but I also got used to it, and I know is worth, very worth
the second half of my life has been a much more smooth ride in most ways though, that's also true (knocking on wood a quadrillion times)
They're usually connected. You can't really take care of one without taking care of the other most of the time.
Mental! It's free! We're a good system. But physical takes food sleep sport gear so so much!
Just because it's free doesn't mean it's good. What's the cure for a broken heart because a loved one died? Or you got divorced and are having trouble processing your new reality? Stuff like that.
Oops! There seems to be a misunderstanding! I don't say that it's good because it's free. My mind is a bit weird... but I only speak from my own experience and I have dealt with heartbreak like that before. For me, there is beauty behind those things.
I'd go with physical health.
Thanks!

It depends on a number of things. I mean if you feel down because you’re overweight, out of shape, etc, taking care of your physical health as far as getting in shape will most likely get rid of those thoughts. Now if you’re just fucked up mentally from a lot of things gone wrong in your life, dealt a bad hand, I’m saying physical would be better. But at the same time if you’re so screwed up mentally are you even going to want to do physical things. That’s like asking ok do you have the headache because of high blood pressure, or high blood pressure because of a headache?
This is honesty a tough question because what is important isn't easy to care for. Im talking about mental health. Your mental health in a way effects our physical health. If our mental health isn't taken care of we tend to make poor or irrational choices which puts more harm on the remainder of our body. Just an opinion though
You can cure physical health by exercise or a good diet, which isn't even daunting. If you like some healthy food or enjoy a sport, it's easier.
Mental health is such a cluster of things that most treatments made were experimental and evidence based, for example antidepressants. You even see perfectly fit healthy people suffering mentally. It's so hard to judge what people have seen or are going through. And even harder to get them back
Most of our brains automatically think physical health — exercising, healthy eating, drinking water, etc. And while physical health does play a large role in keeping our bodies in shape and functioning properly, our mental health is just as important to maintain to achieve a healthy and happy lifestyle.
Both are equally hard to take care of, nowadays. But some people have an easier time with one over the other; usually physically health. For me, they were both equally tough.
Physical is way easier. Eat healthy, exercise, boom you've got a healthy body.
Mental is a much more rigorous task especially if you already have any kind of mental health issues.
Then why do people get chronic illnesses and terminal illnesses? When you're older, I think it gets harder, but I do think you're right, but I wouldn't say way easier? I think both have to be n sync for a person to function well and live long.
Chronic illness doesn't really come under something you can control unless it was caused by substance abuse or poor lifestyle.
A lot of times it's either just bad luck, genetics or some kind of accident.
I was only including general physical and mental health maintanence in my answer
Hmm true. However, I am not sure if you can get a chronic illness from an accident.
A gym a walk a workout at home is always a go to. A therapist not so much.
It really does matter what your health status is but mental issues are much harder to treat.
Physical health basically boils down to a few good habits. Mental health improvement is an absolute battlefield.
In my case, it's mentally. I just know how to think and it doesn't actually involve medical bills, drugs, surgery or other medical things.
Physical health is easier.
Exercise and diet
Sure that would be fine :-)
:-)
.
definitely physical health
Mental health is very tricky.
