I'm gonna go continue my workouts and have something light containing protein and vegetables for supper. Hopefully I don't eat too much at Christmas dinner.
Thanks for your support.

It is possible yes. If your calories consumed from food is less than the calories your body burns from being alive and from the running then yes, that'll work. It just won't be very healthy for very long.
Nice.
I just can't seem to beat my sweet tooth, so I thought maybe I could just do portion control and try to overpower everything with extreme cardio.
Our bodies really work in switching modes on and off. When you're sleeping, you do not wish to see light, hear noises, etc.
So when your body is in grazing mode, it seems impossible to stop eating, especially with modern engineered foods.
But you'll know, once your the right hormones kick in, you will prefer to keep food away.
@Guy___
I hope so because I do good for a while, then something will stress me out and then I'm scooping ice cream, chopping bananas, and eating potato chips in the middle of the night.
Food is becoming like a drug for me,
Alright, I guess I better balance my diet and get back into the major food groups.
Just noticed, women voted 50/50 (excluding me with a pink account) while 3/4 men said no. Because most women are in fact unfit and malnourished but since it's natural to have higher body fat anyway, they think it doesn't matter where the energy comes from.
But it surely does. That's how chronic diseases happen. When men do the same thing they're criticized much more.
I can look at two women of the same weigh, height, and body fat percentage, but will tell which one eats super healthy and which one does not. I'm surprised that so few people care about women's fitness beyond just "skinny&thick".
No and mainly because you are feeding body fat and carbs which means the body never uses the existing fat for energy. That's a no win situation unless you calorie intake is very low... unhealthy low.
Damn, how can I boost my metabolism so it's like it was when I was a teenager?
Drop calories to 1900 straight protein beans and meat. Eat vegetables. No snack aisle, frozen aisle, beer aisle etc...
I did 30 seconds HIIT SPRINT on elliptical and rest minute-half until hit 15 minutes all the way up to 30 minutes (eventually) every other day.
Average weight high reps top part of body circuit one day and bottom part the next day. No heavy lifting.
Walk stairs at home, clean, pull weeds, and no couch potato sitting daily.
Do these things and your metabolism burns in your sleep.
It is usually 250-300 calories at gym and 100 at home nets a 400 daily calorie burn with a Net Calorie consumption of 1600 daily. This may be too low for beginner as you will be tired as crap..
Search 1700 calories over a month, weight loss? Too low calories can stifle your Effort and get you snacking...
Wow, thanks.
I know that you're right I just need to buckle down and get on a better plan like you suggested.
Absolutely, I need to build a beach body again, lol.
Merry Christmas.
Things can vet complicated quick.. I personally avoid even cardio machines because of the electromagnetic fields and not the most natural biomechanics for the long term, not very good. Any form of hiit without machines is superior in my opinion. Like they all do
the same thing metabolically. And those that raise lactic acid higher are always superior, you get your testosterone and growth hormone spike like 10 fold, experiment with things like what is known as "metabolic running".
And, drugs work.. but natural drugs also work and are safe. The key to them is not to use too frequently so you don't build tolerance, or they will lose the effect.
Something I like.. let's say on day 1 of the week you take a lot of pine pollen, another day you take a lot of distance extract, another day gingko, also cordyceps mushrooms are one of the best, ane another day so that you get a boost all week long, take eurycoma (which I take by mixing with water and shooting up my ahole, as I got extremely concentrated extract with high eurycomanones, *which some people have better results with than taking actual testosterone* but it's absolutely safe and beneficial long term.)
There are more good herbs, and while some people respond to some herbs better than others, you must also know to avoid majority of the promoted BS supplements that are actual detrimental. For example many male enhancement products actually contain estrogenic compounds.
Sorry if it was confusing. These eurycomanones are one of the most bitter substances on earth. I have thrown up multiple times taking it orally. Especially on an empty stomach. And of course as most other substances, oral ingestion is not most efficient way to absorb into the blood stream. Since it's bitter, I won't do tinctures. In order to inject them, they have to be ultra pure. But this way I can just shoot a few millilitres up my a**.
If I remember right, mice and rat studies were very inconsistent with absorption rates. One absorbed it about 10%, the other 50% when taken orally. While intravenously you can get it to 100% absorption.
Don't be confused, lol.
And with that EMF on cardio machines...
You can solve it by grounding yourself. There even are ones used by military that has included grounding for the users. And it had included like BFR bands, (which is a must have for anyone working out,) except theirs were even made of cold water inside of them. That machine even had the oxygen co2 tolerance training built in, but i heard all of this last time in 2019 and the machine was like with 30k so it's still probably too expensive. You can just do it by bodyweight training. All that I meant to prove, is that this science is very real, including grounding to discharge the static. That is why I also sleep electrically grounded. We all know EMFs cause cancer and lower athleticism too.
@Guy___ Wow, you must do this for a living. I have played soccer 6th grade through university scholarship SO all I know is old school I guess. And, I was thinking about a normal gym offering in USA. We never did drugs, proteins etc either... all those forms of drugs are like another expense for me.
Well thanks, I don't talk about fringe research chemicals a lot. There are super drugs that like increase your number of muscle satellite cells permanently, boost NAD systematically while stimulating healthier brains all at once.
I don't talk about them because they're not so thoroughly tested out, and also expensive. I only promote herbs. Pine pollen for example contains many steroidal compounds, that are especially beneficial for overweight peòpĺe to reverse estrogen and aromatse.
As with hormonal drugs, so with proteins. I suggest natural 100%. Natural proteins such as pasture raised animal products are much more bioavailable than most powders. And those powders that work, are also usually full of synthetic solvent manufacturing residue so they're bad for you long term.
If I have not mentioned yet in my replies to other opinions here, to inform the asker, prioritizing protein rich natural foods when losing weight is one of the most important rules.
I was told I have to make this my career since i started nerding out on it as an early teen.
While I do like helping people by sharing the information that works, I also know that there thousands of experts on the internet already doing it. You just have to sift through them who deliberately disinformation the public.
And there is real evil, it's easier for me to share these videos like this 33rd degree mason and ex satanic priest telling us what's going on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkXN664_tpE
Did I forget to mention, as there are medications like metformin, so are there natural herbs doing the same thing, most popular are berberine and bitter melon. They lower blood sugar and reverse diabetes. Of course the list of plants having compounds acting this way is long, but berberine hydrochloride already is popular and effective, and now a new version of it is coming out, dihydroberberine which is 10 times more effective per milligram. It's often called "exercise in a pill".
@chris42001 and if you remember the other reply to another opinion about our bodies working by "switching modes on and off"
This berberine immediately puts your body into fat burning mode and you lose the cravings, exactly like you do like when you exercise in a fasted state.
I recommend you try it for sure.
@Guy___
Thanks for the recommendations, very interesting stuff.

You would but you would also suffer malnutrition and never have any energy. Worst case scenario that would kill you eventually.
If you want to lose weight, there is one very simple diet which will do it and keeping it will also maintain your healthy weight. That is a diet of mostly plants, a little bit of meat and a little bit of carbohydrates and not too much. So your plate should consist of majority fruit and vegetables, a small portion of meat and a small portion of carbohydrates and not a huge portion. This way, you will be getting all the vitamins and minerals your body needs from the fruit and vegetables, all the protein from the meat and the small amount of carbohydrates help your body absorb that. It isn't a fad diet, it is just the correct food consumption for a human and it works.
Couple this with regular exercise and you'll be a healthy weight and right as rain for years until you get old and develop age related health issues which are inevitable.
You still want to eat as nutrient dense as possible. I don't have that much personal experience, but I assume when you replied that you have a sweet tooth, you actually need a real blood sugar spike, rather than the taste of sweetness, right?
I think I just crave sweetness sometimes.
So far I've been eating pretty good since yesterday, meat and vegetables, a little bit of potatoes. For that sugar fix I've just been diluting some grape juice with water and that seems to be working. Now I just need to stay on a workout schedule and I think I'm gonna start to see changes in a week or two.
Like I mentioned, berberine extract has a lot of similarities with metformin. So in case if you do indulge by accident, try taking berberine, will completely reverse the sugar spike, right? The same feeling you get when sleepy after a meal, will be reversed.
And if it is just the taste itself that you can't go without, you may see if you can get natural sweeteners like stevia. If you choose to, I recommend to get it in a rough 10:1 unstandardized extract. Not only is it cheaper without all the testing, the less processing the more natural and less synthetic solvents involved and all that you probably know.
I think your education on this topic is a bit advanced for me to be honest.
I'm just trying not to stuff my face due to emotional problems left over from my divorce. I'm going through a change in my life where I don't want her anymore for the first time in many years and now I'm trying to get rid of the addictions I picked up during my depression. The last major one left is overeating and junk food. I'm slowly getting away from those bad habits that I used to fill a void.
You would lose weight but I wouldn't do that if I were you because that would be very unhealthy
You might develop a vitamin deficiency. Will you lose weight? That depends on how many bananas and how much ice cream you eat.
in the same way you can eat mc d's and not get fat.
Don't be daft. Eating that much processed sugar and potassium will drive you to a higher blood pressure, weight gain and possible diabetes.
Yeah I guess a sugar only diet for too long is playing with fire.
@Guy___
That's too much bananas.
Maybe I'll go eat a sandwich later instead.
I'm pointing out to the opinion owner that he thought bananas give you too much potassium. They're actually quite low in it. Better fo with avocados, coconut milk, or potatoes. Unless you are allergic to potatoes which many people are, several hundred people die each ear from eating potatoes.
but that is not a healthy balanced diet and you will end up getting sick.
I'll definitely be running with that combo.
If you're in a calorie deficit, then yeah.
no...
it is not healthy
Damn, I was hoping I could just replicate my diet of junk food I had as a kid, then run a lot like I did as a kid, and get skinny again.
It made sense in my mind.
You want to get skinny?
The reason you could eat junk as a child was because you still had nutrients reserved in your body from the breast feeding and whatever other healthy foods were there. Once you start eating junk you will begin depleting the stored nutrients. Once the nutrients are gone, I can't think of any result other than sickness.
@Guy___
I figured I would drink fruit juice and milk, snack on some chicken strips, and eat some of those Asian veggie rolls occasionally to keep me having energy, but yeah I can see how ice cream only is gonna lead to sickness.
I just miss being lean and light on my feet.
I'm sorry to say this. It's impossible to be REALLY healthy these days especially if you do not live grow your own food. I mean fruit juics are all full of pesticides, are pasteurized, stored in plastics, and half of them contain inflammatory additives.
Chickens, again, raised inhumanely in a chemical pile of poisons, commercial chicken has more toxins than nutrients.
Veggie rolls.. again, liely the combination of those two things mentioned, but I'm not sure what they are, there must be high quality versions of it.
Having energy? This is like old basic stuff I had to argue with my teachers about in schools. An overweight person is never in lack of energy in literal terms. All you have to do is keep the chemicals such as hormones in balance, the great example is insulin, you may eat a bunch of high energy foods, but when the insulin rises it makes you sleepy, as a result you do not feeling like running.
@Guy___
Well that's depressing. I guess I could squeeze some oranges into spring water for my juice and just eat lunch meat and spinach with cheese.
Thankfully I run like a champ so I have lots of energy and stamina already, but I need to drop like 35 pounds.
Eat a lot of fermented foods, a lot more animal than plant foods, or better combine them both like fermented raw goat milk.
I do not have experience having a "sweet tooth" but i strongly suggest you do not even think of diet sodas and sports drink containing artificial sweeteners. All you have to do is read published scientific studies on them. I mean aspartame on it's own kills you in 100 mechanisms, from wiping the gut bacteria to killing brain cells to killing muscle cells. If necessary, get a large quantity of stevia or monk fruit extract instead. Make sure you have electrolyte balance in your body. Minerals compete, even the four most common ones, sodium, calcium, potassium, magnesium. An imbalance makes you feel weak but is also guaranteed to cause diseases.
Many people are deficient in potassium, all people are deficient in magnesium.
Magnesium does so much, I actually feel its shbg lowering (testosterone raising) effect and get a boner half hour after a high dose. Then there are many other "hacks" I thought would be more popular now after so many years. Have you tried, red light therapy or sunlight direct on the full body, and also gonads for more testosterone? Or underwear with ice pack slots to keep them cool throughout the day? Won't mention all the long lists of fringe "hacks" like breathing molecular hydrogen for now, but they sure work.
@Guy___
Wow, I thought I was healthy just because I recently quit drinking large quantities of alcohol and getting super drunk with my annoying buddies. Without alcohol now I figured I was on track to physical excellence. Aspartame was the least of my worries, I was waking up on the floor, lol.
Now I see that there's a whole other level to my diet that I need to research.
If you are lactose Intolerant
I don't think I am.
I've never heard of such a diet
Yeah, I thought I was being innovative.
I want sugar, but I get pudgy if I eat snack on top of regular meals. I wondered what would happen if I just ate the sugar and exercised.
Good luck with that
Thank you.
