Almost 3,000 people died in England and Wales due to pneumonia and influenza in December, a quarter higher than in a typical year, in what is expected to be the worst flu season in a decade.

After 2 or 3 years of isolating ourselves anything is possible. I still see people with masks on all afraid... like, still. I'm not concerned... immune to everything and can walk pretty much anything off.

What I really think is we have the fat diabetus people and it drove up our numbers. All of us locked down for the fatties, old, and pre-existent medical problems people and now that it's letting up, the number will jump. Just natural shit in my opinion. I mean seriously, the Spanish flu is still out there and you didn't see us hiding in our homes from that... well, before COVID that is.

Media and it's propaganda did more damage than the virus in my opinion. I'm never going to forget that 14 days to stop the spread turned into years. Just did a dentist appointment for the kid, they still do masks... all of us were digging around in our car to try and find masks... makes no sense because teeth... he's going to take the mask off and have his teeth looked at anyways. Reminds me of those videos of people eating with masks on.

Lacking more specific information on common factors, I'd guess it's largely due to immune systems being weakened from lack of exposure to germs while everyone's been isolating themselves- even if not to the degree of the lockdowns, few people are willing to be as open as they were in the past.

Similar story in Scotland too. I think we need to ignore nonsense about covid vaccines causing it because these spikes have been happening for decades such as the swine flu spike 10 years ago.

It's a combination of the bio-weapon people unwittingly injected themselves with several times, and the lack of exposure to germs / virus due to lockdown. A combination that was carefully planned and directed... but one most people will ignore or rationalize away because the truth is too difficult to accept.
