What give women's asses their round shape is the healthy fat deposits that develop on the hips, butts and thighs post puberty. That fat overlays the muscle.
So, although its really good to be fit and strong, it's not good to eliminate the fat in those specific areas. Being lean starts making a woman's ass more defined like man's. Therefore, I'm not sure that you can fill in that area by exercising, getting leaner, and building muscle.
That particular part you marked is probably the greater trochanter, which is a part of the femur bone that the gluteus medius attaches to xD the dip you were talking about is most likely the gap which exists between the thing i just described and the gluteus maximus.
I don't know, but I do like the term "butt muscle" :)
