Severe case of ingrown hairs!, please help?

I have a severe case of ingrown hairs on my thigh I cannot wear a bikini Anymore. I have tried so many things to get rid of them for the last 5 years including Expoliances, hair and skin softeners. I'm allergic to wax. No matter What I do they seem to be coming back and that area always stays red.

I do use tweezers that seems like the only way but leaves my skin incredibly damaged

I used to get `em, sometimes, after I shaved my legs but, they'd only grow under the top layer of my skin so, if I spotted one, I'd just take some kind of a pin, only go that one layer of skin under the hair at the end where it was growing from and lift the pin up and the hair would come with it and I could just shave it right off. It didn't hurt a bit.

Depending on the type of hair you have, you may be able to get by just trimming instead of shaving; have you looked into threading?

Try to Shave every 3 days or so with a quality razor that has lubricant or something /multiple blades and use lavender essential oil undiluted directly on the ingrown hairs everyday

They have pimple popper kits with pointy needles and extractors. Or go to a dermatologist

I get them on occasion around my baking area.. it’s from shaving.. I just pop it.. and the hair pops right out.. clean it with alcohol and add a little neodporin and avoid shaving the area until it heals

But I think a pointy took that can simply poke at it with would be less painful

Tweezers are not needles. That’s you squeezing the skin and leaving a small gash. Sterilize the needle and do it after a shower without the fan on while your skin is still moist.. then squeeze out the hair and use the tweezers to pull it out

I don't know.. I’ve never had them on my legs before.. if it’s a lot.. I’d get it done professionally and ask what to do to take preventative measures to keep it from happening
