So I am slightly addicted to the feeling of pulling hairs, I'm sure there's a name of that somewhere online. However, because of this I began pulling the hair around my nipples and in-between my chest as well as on my neck/chest. The hair has now grown back darker and sometimes I'll even get ingrown hairs around those areas. Does anyone else do this and/or does anyone know how to stop the ingrown hairs from happening? Or how best to take care of them in these spots?

Sounds like you might have some overlapping OCD-picking tendencies. Are your hairs really that noticeable on your chest or do you have body dysmorphia as well? Chances are you are thinking you are plucking the hair shaft out when in actuality you are breaking the hairs before the root is removed. This makes ingrown hairs form. Keep skin clean because that area is prone to heat an moisture. Exfoliate as well.
It's important to avoid pulling or plucking hair around the nipples and chest, as this can lead to ingrown hairs and other skin irritations. Instead, consider the following tips for preventing and treating ingrown hairs:
1. Exfoliate regularly: Exfoliating the affected area can help remove dead skin cells and prevent hair from becoming trapped beneath the surface. Use a gentle exfoliating scrub or brush to avoid irritating the skin.
2. Moisturize: Keeping the skin moisturized can help prevent ingrown hairs by reducing dryness and irritation. Use a gentle, non-comedogenic moisturizer to avoid clogging pores.
3. Avoid tight clothing: Tight clothing can rub against the skin and cause friction, leading to ingrown hairs. Wear loose-fitting clothing made from breathable fabrics to reduce irritation.
4. Use a warm compress: Applying a warm compress to the affected area can help reduce inflammation and promote healing. Soak a clean cloth in warm water and apply to the skin for 10-15 minutes at a time.
5. Consider hair removal alternatives: If you're prone to ingrown hairs, consider alternative methods of hair removal, such as shaving with the grain, using depilatory creams, or getting professional waxing or laser hair removal.
Remember, it's important to take care of your skin and avoid behaviors that can lead to ingrown hairs and other skin irritations. If you're experiencing persistent or severe symptoms, don't hesitate to seek medical advice from a dermatologist or healthcare provider.
Look into electrolysis.
