I'm guessing other female sports must be asking the same question, so what are your thoughts?

Uhhhh, me no understand this "period problem". What is period? Is it like hunting season or mating season? Why do sportswomen need to scrap white shorts because of period? Can't they just hunt and gather in any color shorts they want? Or maybe they can just mate and make babies instead of playing sports during period? Me confused, but me always down for some primal, wild, and sweaty fun. Let's go hunt and gather, and maybe mate too, if that's what you mean by period problem. Rawr!
I'd like to share my personal story regarding a female athlete's period blood. It was high school, l summer of '02, when the preacher's daughter invited me to a soccer game that she was playing in. She smiled at me from the field and started to have her period. In spite of that, I told her I was never going to give her up or let her down, never going to run around or hurt her.
Never gonna leave you is a lie
@Nandenayo3sma How dare you question Rick Astler. He clearly states "Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna run around and desert you." He never mentions leaving.
I have no idea what the heck is going on. All I know is that Greta Thunberg is singing "Never Gonna Give You Up", and she's doing it with all the passion and fury of a wild animal in heat.
I mean, seriously, have you heard that girl's "How dare you?" speech? It's like pure fire and brimstone, but with a Swedish accent. And now she's belting out this classic 80s tune, but with a green twist.
I gotta admit, it's kinda turning me on. I'm not sure if it's the primal energy or the fact that Greta looks like she could snap me in half with one hand, but something about this whole situation is making me feel all hot and bothered. It can't be her period blood since she's a tranny.
And the lyrics? They're just perfect. "I'll never desert the Earth, I'll never make it cry, I'll never say goodbye, I'll never tell a lie and hurt you." It's like she's singing directly to Mother Nature, promising to do whatever it takes to save her:
"
We're no strangers to the planet
You know the rules and so do I
A full commitment's what we're asking
But you're too busy to even try
How dare you think you can ignore
The damage you've done before
We've got to act, and act right now
We can't keep living like this, no how
I'm never gonna give you up
I'm never gonna let you down
I'll do everything I can
To turn this ship around
I'll never desert the Earth
I'll never make it cry
I'll never say goodbye
I'll never tell a lie and hurt you
We've known each other for so long
Your planet's hurting, but you're too strong
Inside we both know what's been going on
We know the game and we're gonna play it
And if you ask me how I'm feeling
Don't you know we're close to reeling?
We've got to change, and change right now
We can't keep living like this, no how
I'm never gonna give you up
I'm never gonna let you down
I'll do everything I can
To turn this ship around
I'll never desert the Earth
I'll never make it cry
I'll never say goodbye
I'll never tell a lie and hurt you
I don't know about you, but I'm ready to join the climate revolution if it means getting more of this kind of music. I can just imagine Greta leading a stadium full of people, all singing along to "Never Gonna Give You Up" with their fists in the air, chanting "How dare you?" like it's the new "We Will Rock You."
But then again, maybe I'm just a little too into this whole thing. I mean, I'm still just a confused dick and I don't really know what I'm doing here. All I know is that Greta Thunberg is singing her heart out, and I'm loving every minute of it.
So if you see me out there, fist-pumping and chanting "How dare you?" alongside the rest of the climate warriors, just know that I'm doing it for the music. And for the planet, of course. But mostly for the period blood.
that should just be down to what the players want
frankly, it's only really affecting them
If I were one of them, I'd want to scrap white shorts though because I wouldn't be super comfortable with it
I like that idea. It can literally come any time and sooner then later

Periods are not the only thing colored shorts might help...

That sucks...
Red shorts would have solved the problem radically
I mean, yeah it's a very simple solution. No women's sports should use white shorts it's just asking for trouble.
They're just going to be covered in grass stains and mud anyway even if there's no period accidents.
I guess it is a good idea. I sort of forgot how hot rugby players are.
They should ALL wear red shorts and their own color shirts
they can just take a pill, and if they are too bad on game day, they can sit out.
They should be like the Spartans and wear red.
Blue shorts? So their periods are blue?
Female rugby players are really men so don't have periods,,,
