Will having an xray once a month cause cancer?

It's for my bone fracture. Had it since end of dec and will for a while I think. However now I'm worried about long term effects, like cancer.

Ask your doctor, but I don't think so.
I'm by no means an expert, but I worked on x-ray machines a while ago, so we'd naturally get some radiation on us almost daily. The same goes for mechanics and doctors. We would wear a tiny geiger meter badge which would go to the lab every month to check if we were under the limit.
If you were to be doing this every month for years and years, I would be somewhat concerned, so definitely confirm with your doctor.

No, an exposure to x-rays for a period of 6 or more months at the interval that you mention will NOT cause cancer.

Pilots are exposed to much higher doses of radiation when flying at high altitudes and their career lasts at least 30 years. To my knowledge, very few will experience cancer as a consequence of flying 3 days a week for 40+ weeks a year and be exposed several hours a day to the radiation.

It will increase your risk. But not by that much. Modern X-rays are pretty low radiation even compared to 20 years ago. But depending on where you live you are likely getting more background radiation from your surroundings anyways. Foods high in antioxidants can help lower the effects to some degree.

The amount of radiation from X-ray is so minute, unless you are exposed thousands of times, no. The sun is more likely to cause cancer.
