I a it possible for MRI results to come a month or two later?

The doctor wants to talk to my mom and did not explain why and my dad is seeing the same doctor to get a prescription refill which is no longer automated or done over the phone. My mom had an MRI last month.

It's possible, but it's quite late, the results should be ready much quicker, in a few days, definitely not more than a week.

That’s weird, because the pictures are created/printed instantly. I got to take a map of my MRI pictures home an hour later.

I’ve done an MRI a few years ago and I’m pretty sure the results were ready in a week or even less.

That's really late. I'm an engineer who on occasion will take on medical cases where doctors have failed. And every time I told a radiologist to image something, it's usual back w/n an hour.
