What is one productive thing you did today?

I went and worked out with my daughter today. It was a lot of hard work but very productive!

We responded to a car on fire that was in a field, it was raining, 41 degrees with a stiff wind, all fun for standing out in the open, and the fields were muddy, I had to ask dispatch to make sure what I heard was what I thought I heard was correct. It was.
I told them to take our UTV with the tracks on it, the 4X4 brush truck, a tender and the engine.
Long story short we got the fire out, turns out it was a stolen car, the 2 rocket scientists that stole it ran off, go figure.
As we were cleaning off our equipment before we left we had an EMS call, so the bus left for that, then shortly after that we had another call for a MVA about 6 miles away from our location, so I sent 2 crews there, 1 crew did not follow my instructions to stop at the station and take an engine instead of the squad, they found a car on it's roof with no one around.
After talking to the PD later it turns out the 2 that stole the first car got stuck and either the car started on fire trying to get it unstuck, or they set it on fire, then they stole another car and that was the one they crashed and left then they stole yet another vehicle.
The PD did catch them later that day.
Meanwhile all of our equipment was dirty, and everything needed to be cleaned and put back in service.
When I got home I did get some other work done as well.

It was productively… fun lol

I went and bought myself a gold utensil 🍴 set and after I walked over to Barns and Noble’s and I smiled from both until I got home. Was like a kid at a candy story. Played my music inside as well and didn’t give two shits 😂🦶
