Did you know that women with one fallopian tube still ovulate from each side?

I lost a fallopian tube due to an ectopic pregnancy. I assumed that I would now only ovulate from one side, but no the human body is fascinating, my remaining fallopian tube moves to collect the egg from the opposite side every other month! Amazing and kind of creepy to know that is going on inside of me...

That does explain things like ectopic pregnancies. Like women will still ovulate when the tubes are tied or removed in general. My sister in law had one of those and she had had her tubes tied for years.

I didn't know that. Don't understand how that works. I had an ectopic pregnancy when I was 16 and lost one fallopian tube so I know where yiu are coming from.

It just moves to collect the egg. The fallopian tube is not attached to the ovary 😊

By the way, you said that got pregnant, what if you had a normal pregnancy and delivered a baby to this world, were you ready for it or are you ready for it at the age of 24? Also will the father stay with you and hold his responsibilities towards you and the baby?
