No Meds, had Laparoscopic Appendectomy on 5/3. No real issues from it so far, minimal pain other than a bit around the dermabonded incisions, especially near my belly button, when I get up. No issues with eating yet, haven’t had a bowel movement yet, but only 40 hrs have passed so far. Haven’t taken anything for pain since I left the hospital either
Plan on making a final decision based on my follow up late next week. But seems like l should be ok at this rate? Would be a 4 hr flight in country departing on 5/15.
Not sure what else would be relevant given my current state and all

It's important to consult with your surgeon or healthcare provider to determine whether it is safe for you to travel 12 days post laparoscopic appendectomy, especially if you will be taking a 4-hour flight.
In general, laparoscopic appendectomy is a minimally invasive procedure and recovery time is usually relatively fast. However, every patient's recovery is unique and can be affected by various factors such as the extent of the surgery and any complications that may have occurred during or after the surgery.
Your healthcare provider will be able to assess your individual recovery progress and determine whether you are safe to travel at this time. They may also provide you with guidance on any precautions you should take during your travel, such as avoiding heavy lifting or prolonged sitting.
It's important to prioritize your recovery and follow any instructions or recommendations provided by your healthcare provider to ensure a safe and smooth recovery.
It's something I would consider.
