Is going for surgery that bad?

My friend will need surgery on his wrist. Is it that bad going in for surgery or is it quite calm? the process. I’ve also known people with appendicitis.

I do fear getting Ill and needing treatment like this. I get worried that one day I might suddenly need something like this. Just gotta keep praying 🤲

Unless you're going in while in a great deal of pain needing emergency surgery, it's generally not bad. You go in, fill out some forms, have some people explain the process to you (your doctor should already have told you all this, but they want to put you at ease). They'll have you change into a gown, then they'll bring in the gurney, have you hop on, plug in the anesthetic (assuming you're being put under), and roll you in to the operating theater.

Cleanliness requirements in an operating theater are extreme (for very good reason), so I'd never seen pictures of one, and was very curious what it looked like, but by the time I arrived, I was already half unconscious; I passed out completely shortly afterwards. It was a little unnerving- I'd never been fully unconscious before- but at the time, it just felt like falling asleep, but being a bit more aware of it. Then you come to in the recovery room, and it's all done.

Trust me, it's not bad at all.

I have had surgery before, You just have to think of it as something you have to do and soon you will be on the other side of it.

Your friend will be asleep during the surgery, so I guess for them it will be calm. I don't think wrist surgery is all that bad to be honest. Either way they will be fine

Necessary surgeries as medications are Biblical. Plastic surgery or surgery that is to fix something that is under control with meds probably is not. Praying 🙏 for Guidance is best.
