cosmetic surgery is wrong only when the surgery has a purpose of altering the face and body, when it is done to conform to the fashion of the moment and the current standards of society, among these surgeries are sex change and many others.
If cosmetic surgery has a corrective and improvement purpose, suppose in the case where a person had conspicuous defects in the face or body and felt some discomfort from them, then resorting to it is more than fair, in which case one can intervene to the right extent to correct the defect.
The Dead Kennedys weren't too fond of it.

It's your body your choice. But in the long run I think more people regret it than appreciate it. For some reason it tends to age those who have it (despite a lot of people getting it to appear younger) it also sucks out all the individuality from a person's face. Once it's done, it's mostly irreversible and your body can't ever go back to it's complete true state. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
What someone chooses to do to their body is their choice. They are the ones who have to live in their body, they are the only ones that should be allowed to make a choice about their body. They are the ones who will have to live with those choices.
There body, their choice!

For people with facial deformities, plastic surgery can be their only only way to feel happy in their appearance. Otherwise, these surgeries make people simply feel more confident. There's nothing inherently wrong with it
I think there are other real problems or areas where money would help more. Of course there are exceptions where I think it's OK to have cosmetic surgery. But 99% of the time the people who have it done don't need it and in my opinion would be better off donating the money to charity to help others. And an real OP is always risky. Just my 2 Cents.
Yes and no, I find it wrong when they lie about it and make others people insecure with realistic bodies (especially celebrity towards teen)
but on overall they're free to do what they want even if plastic surgery is extremely dangerous
I mean you are spending exorbitant sums of money to alter your physical form in an attempt to lie to those around you. sure in some instances it is useful and life saving but majority of the time it is just paying someone to turn a lie into a truth despite it still being a lie
People should have the freedom do do what they want with their bodies. There are certain circumstances where is should be considered a medical procedure. People who have disfiguring scars from an accident or survivors of breast cancer should have access to restorative procedures.
Having insurance pay for boob jobs because somebody wants more attention from men however should not be allowed,
What someone does to their body is their choice. But persoanlly I'm not looking to have any, and I'd not encourage anyone else to. In my mind people should just be comfortable with who they are and not chase some warped idea of an ideal. They will never be happy as time will always catch up with them
if its done by a good surgeon and to fix something that isn't very pretty, i'm all for it. there's nothing wrong with buying a prettier face. though if its excessive, badly done, done on features that were already attractive, or if someone wants to do something weird, its bad
no conflict first and last people can "choose" to do evil. sometimes such surgeries are for vanity that is so intense to even change the body. also it is fake. like trump hair... need i say more?
I think it has it's place if you have an accident and are wounded badly. A good plastic surgeon can make the scars less noticeable so that people can lead more normal lives. Aside from that, I don't think it has any legitimate purpose.
From medical point of view, yes. Increased infection risk, damaged and weakened collagen structures below the skin, intentional bone fractures...
From perspective of mental well being and comfort it's not wrong.
I don’t think so. It’s their face and body. It’s not hurting anyone else, sah the way abortion is.
It may not be right for you or something you want to do. Whose to say it’s not for someone else
its never gonna make you more attractive and its dangerous. i dont know you but you probably dont need plastic surgery not many people are ugly enough to need this.
Everyone should decide for themselves. If at some point I believe that I need something like that and have the money for it, why not?
Unless it's reconstructive (say you had your face bitten off by an adult chimpanzee) it's probably a mistake. I can't say it's morally wrong, just a bad decision.
Some plastic surgery is necessary. For example, reconstruction of burn victims.
What would make plastic surgery 'wrong' under any circumstances? WTH?
I think it should only be done if really necessary not because of personal insecurities
I believe so if they aren't doing reconstruction or something serious
I’m not sure, but reconstructive at least sounds fine. Also they should never do it out of peer pressure or anything like that.
Its not wrong but at the same time its also a fake signal. Cosmetic surgery won't give better looking offspring.
I accidentally voted yes, no matter the circumstances. I meant to vote no, it’s their choice.
It’s not wrong. But, I think people shouldn’t overdo it.
It’s not wrong but unfortunately it doesn’t always work out as the person wishes.
Not inherently. But it doesn't help when the problem is body dysmorphia rather than something being actually wrong with their body.
No, do what feels right. If it makes you happier, why not?
Unless correcting some problem
I really dislike fake boobs
I don't know about "wrong". But it is a turnoff.
silicone implants go black inside your body after a few years.
Is heart surgery wrong?
I'm not a big fan of fake boobs.
Nope, it's their choice 💁♀️
Their choice but lying about it is very wrong.
