At bedtime I never go to sleep without showering, does that make me a neat freak?

Question

Before bedtime, I wear nightwear after taking a shower. Even if I took a shower in the morning or afternoon, if I step outside or do some activities and sweat then I'll take another shower before bedtime. I can't go to sleep knowing I sweated. I feel as if I have to be clean and without sweat at bedtime, regardless if I took a shower early on.

My 2nd ex boyfriend once admitted this thing I personally found disgusting. He only showers once a day. After we were done with our Judo excercises and obviously sweated a lot, he lets his body cool down and goes to sleep afterwards. Goes to sleep without showering... ewwww

When you shower, it feels like a weight has been lifted off. I get it. I can't leave the house without showering. I sweat all the time, everywhere! My anxiety is really high though. When my anxiety is really bad, I get body odor all over. Not strong, but strong enough for me to notice.

I think wanting to be clean is normal. I was told I had OCD in the past because I showered too much and washed my hands too much. I'd rather have my little cleaning rituals than stink because my anxiety is high! Damn Psychiatrists!

Nothing wrong w that. I shower 3-4 times a day myself. Before bed for sure to get the day’s gritty grime off of me. Not only that it helps me sleep better, the warm water soothing your aching body at times. In the morning to wake me up, to feel fresh. Also after I go to the gym. There’s numerous days when I work outside in the yard maintaining it, so I need to shower then as well. Plus I work nights, so on the days when I’m working I sleep till about 4, then wake up and shower before going to work.

I always sleep better being freshly showered and do so except unless I just can't stay awake.

Sleeping in my birthday suit is also conducive to better rest.

Neat freak? Nope.

Shower freak? Maybe.

I always sleep better after a good shower... I prefer showering at night. I don't think that fact alone makes me anything but human. But you could be a neat freak... I honestly don't know.

Hygiene is basic. Don’t worry about multiple showers. Just means you wanna feel clean a safe of germs

not really it mean you want your body to be colder then go to sleep. its mostly to change body temprature
