ever since i started working 4 days ago ( first job) i’ve lost my appetite. i had like 2-3 bites of a sandwhich that i didn’t finish the first day.. 1 chicken tender next day.. 2nd day i ate 10 piece chicken nuggets bc i was high and had munchies… and yesterday i didn't eat at all and i’m still not hungry.. i have been stressed out but this seems a little extreme? and even when i do eat i feel like i’m full or like i’m going to throw up unless i’m high.. but i don’t like getting high everyday just to eat.. i feel fine health wise so i’m confused? anyone relate? and will this go away?

Having no appetite is how I delt with stress all my life. I just wasn't hungry. I smoked cigarettes and that always helped with my stress.
If you aren't eating, may I suggest that you but some nutrition drinks like Ensure and drink at least one to two each day. You don't have to chug them down, but just take sips through out the day and night. Personally I like them cold, and the Original kind is more mild than the other type. I love milk, and so the Vanilla taste best to me. Drink them with a straw if you can. They come in different flavors.
Drinking Ensure everyday with help with your nutrition and you don't have to be hungry to drink them.
When your stress settles down and you know your job better, your appetite will come back.
You are like me. When I am stressed I take it all in my stomach until I can't eat. Plus I would get plagued with headaches.
Now I am older, I still have stressful things going on in my life, but my stomach is totally trashed now from all the years of worrying about everything.
Living life these days is hard, no doubt. But try to limit what you allow in your life that puts stress on you.
Good luck 🍀 with your new job. Try not to beat yourself up. You'll be ok soon enough.
Take care.

did you force yourself to eat? or just drink those?… i looked those up and they’re pretty expensive so i won’t be able to get them until my pay check
No, I never forced myself to eat.
They seem expensive, Walmart has them cheeper. Walgreens has their brand, which is the same thing, but cheeper than Ensure.
They have coupons in the Sunday newspaper that have coupons for a couple of dollars off if you buy two. A friend of mine sends them in the mail to me all the time for years now. That helps with the cost.
If you aren't eating food, you should have money to buy the Ensure instead of food.
There have been many times I have had trouble with food in my life. Now I have all sorts of gastrointestinal system problems. I think taking the COVID VACCINES made my eating problems much worse 🤷🏼♀️
Well, I hope I have helped you. If you want to PM me you can ok?

Congratulations on your first job & as my mother once told me & I’ll tell you the same. Welcome to the real world. On the other hand stress unfortunately does happen when it comes to a job & when it does it hits like a ton of bricks.
When it comes to a job you can always find another job & when it comes to quitting just make sure you have another Jon in hand before doing so.
i really need to keep this one.. i’ve had 5 other job interviews.. got one job but left training the same day and never went back bc i let my anxiety win.. everyone’s surprised i’ve been here for 4 days and i’m only extremely stressed in the first hour or 2 and cry a bit lol… thank you for your kind words
A job is a job & a career is a career & in your mind you have to keep telling yourself I can do this & after you tell yourself I can do this tell yourself the reasons why you are working in the first place.
When it comes to a job there are going to be jobs that you are not going to like. There are going to be jobs that stress you out & so much more. As for me I do my job & I do it well & I try to have fun when doing it as well after I do my job I simply go home.
In life you should never give up, you should never give in & most of all you should keep moving forward no matter what.
Just stay hydrated.. your body will tell you when it wants food
