Every doctor I've been to and mentioned this to has had the same reaction. Thoughts for why?

I've been overweight for as long as I can remember. I started to experience HORRENDOUS periods at 13. I was passing clots ranging from the size of a baseball to the size of my foot. I was just put on birth control and sent on my way. Had nexplanon (I think that's the name. Went into my arm but removed it because my arm went completely numb with it). Years past and I was diagnosed with complex atypical endometrial hyperplasia, it's a precancerous condition where the lining of my uterus is thicker than thick basically. My mother died from breast cancer so "urgency" played a role into seeing a specialist. It developed into cancer which resulted in a hysterectomy. I had a genetics test done which came back positive with me at risk of developing various types of cancers including breast cancer. Thyroid is one of them so I went to see an endocrinologist. She brought up cushing syndrome. I'm currently undergoing tests for my cortisol levels. Every doctor I mention this too looks at me like sh*t and gets all nervous. Avoids eye contact as well. I'm going crazy until I get my results. Any thoughts on to why they react this way. I'm 25 years old as well. Had the hysterectomy 1 week before I turned 24.
