I mean, you already can use doctors for getting prescriptions online. They aren't going to solve any problems, but they will give you viagra, painkillers, antibiotics and whatever else you ask for as long as you order it from them.
For a while there it was tough to find docs who would take cash and just write what you wanted. With the advent of COVID and online doctors that came back, without even needing to see the doc. You just write them a message, tell them what drugs you want, and pay.
I wouldn't rely on them to diagnose a hang-nail, but if you just want something written up, I'm sure amazon will work out the same as any other websites out there.
In Australia we mostly have Telehealth appointments since covid at $0.
Occasionally you need a doctor to look at your nasty rash etc because color balance is a problem.
I'm glad you guys have got this available to you because medical is expensive in the US.
Yes, but telemed is using AI to diagnose and send prescriptions to pharmacies. Less workers, more profit.
Some of those "telemed" and "teledoc" sites are just a subscription to access an online form and request meds. They even allow the "patient" to specify what med they are seeking and which alternatives they would accept from the "teledoc".
The next step is going to be the automation of the pharmacies so the medications are automatically dispensed.
That has been here for years. If the doctor doesn't need to physically examine you, you can do it all over a Zoom call.

Yes and no - you cannot get a physical exam online obviously.
I would be careful because it could a scam, and/or they could be prescribing counterfeit medications from a pharmacy that they use.
This will lower the standard for the quality in the care you receive.
It seems like it judging from the subtle innuendo like “on-demand video chat” and “member”. It’s not like we don’t know what they’re really selling.
It sounds good except that the guy never went to medical school and his first name is Doctor.
this is BS😂😂
We have free health care in the UK so i can't relate 🤷♀️
Good for you! Keep us informed on how it works out.
