Do you think about doctors not making themselves available ASAP for an urgent issue related to a patient?

My pediatrician gave his personal number to call if there any emergencies. My grandfather who just turned 90 contracted Covid, and my mom called their doctor, and she said that the doctor would call tomorrow morning at 10 AM. Could she not take five minutes out of your day to call him on what might be a life-threatening issue? Surely she could spare a few minutes for one of her patients. I think that’s what distinguishes doctors who really care and ones who don’t. Said she had to talk to him before prescribing antiviral pills. Well, you don’t wanna wait on that. Why wait until the next morning? Purely for her convenience
