Do you think that today doctors and hospitals in the medical profession are robbing people with the help of sensless tests and medicine?

No not at all. It hard to order “senceless” tests, or senseless anything because the insurance companies are right on top of that. Everything has to have their approval, so im not sure if you know much about the real world? No one is getting rich from useless tests or procedures. It’s hard enough to get the logical and needed tests usually. Why would there even be such a thing as you suggest.
My grandmother is currently in the hospital. He has brain hemorrhage due to high blood pressure. Doctors and nurses are doing sonography test, blood test and chest X-ray, and endugraphy is not done yet they are saying after 2 days they will do the endugraphy test. Grandma's blood pressure is not going down. End medicines are being ordered, I have given 30 injections in 2 days, out of which only 10 will be put. Injections and medicines also have to be taken from the hospital's medical care, otherwise they do not treat themselves.
And there are more than 100 cancer and brain petient in the Hospital so you can calculate That how much hospital is earning
The doctors are in a tricky situation. One the one hand they know insurance will cover it, so it’s financially viable to order extra tests. On the other, the first time they don’t test for disease X and some Karen dies from disease X, they’ll be sued into oblivion.
You hinted that insurance companies are involved, so why would insurance agree to pay for anything useless? They’re not stupid are they? Doctors are not in any kind of “tricky” situation, they don’t order things that aren’t needed because they want to get paid, insurance com0anies won’t pay em for unnecessary stuff. That’s just reality.🤷🏻♂️
@Girther10 I disagree. A few years ago I had a cruddy insurance plan. It paid $X a year and after that I was on the hook to pay out of pocket. I went to the doctors with a foot sprain. The doctor was ready to order a whole host of tests (including x-rays). I mentioned my situation and then the doctor mentioned that the treatment was going to be the same despite the tests. SO I skipped the x-rays and other tests.
I went to the doctor to have a squamous cell carcinoma taken off my ear. The procedure took less than 10 minutes and the bill was about $4600. Fortunately my insurance picked up all but $150 but I thought that nearly $30,000 an hour for a minor surgery was ludicrous!
Nope. Luckily in the UK so free healthcare but to be fair they're always so hard to get tests or prescriptions here. 🤷

It's not so much that the tests etc are senseless it's that the price is jacked way up. A box of tissues in a hospital can cost 50 dollars American. Obviously someone is running a scam that should be shut down.
within private medicine, yeah ofcourse the bottom line is a driver but in the uk and within the nhs, not so much
It's always a problem when you conflict human well being with a profit motive, particularly in the medical world. It's pretty aweful to take advantage of the ill. Should be a universal service in a modern society.
Oh fuck yeah, I go to the hospital and they said 2,000 for what? Just for them to tell me my child is deceased
no but i do believe the government is killing us with all the medications and medicine that they prescribe you which is basically robbing you in a way
Only in America with private healthcare. The rest of the world doesn't have that problem.
The robbery of the people is the fault of the health insurance industry, but hospitals have made it worse over the years.
I don't know. But don't they tell you why these are necessary...
They definitely are plus everything's overpriced I feel like their price gouging us on everything
Yes am agree ,99% hospitals are doing it , and doctors also 😔😔
Hell yeah. More like robbing the Medicare doing all these countless tests on the elderly. LOL
Nope
