It also stems from how you're treated as a human being. If you create stress for your employees it affects their health and a lot of us have a tendency to eat for comfort.

Wonder where you read that. Rabbits are opportunistic prey animals. They are going to eat excessively if given the opportunity, lonely or not.

They have two groups of rabbits and feed them a normal amount of food but it's high in calories and then they pet and groom and hug one and ignore the other and the group that received affection gained less body fat while the group that ate high calorie foods became obese.

Interesting, so maybe rabbits also get dopamine from physical touch.

I guess it makes sense if it was done with domesticated rabbits. I would presume that the results would differ if done with their wild counterparts
