At first in Italy when I heard a couple in a tour group commenting that she was sad when one of the menus had rabbit stew. At first I be thinking they must be eating domestic rabbits meant as pets. But after doing all the research, they don’t. They only eat other rabbits which were not meant as pets.
Superb Opinion
Most meat rabbits are kept in cages and fed standard diet of water, rabbit pellets, hay, and the occasional treat just like pets. In America commercial meat rabbits are typically Californians or New Zealands. Other than that people hunt cotton tails and eat them.

I've eaten rabbit many times. My great grandmother would make Hasenpfeffer, a rabbit stew. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
Not had rabbit for years. Mixxy is now doing the job of the shotgun so you don't really get it anymore
