I feel so depressed. Do you feel depressed?

I cried this morning. I'm so tired of being depressed and unhappy.

You are not being at all fair to yourself.

If you want to be healthy and well then you should look after yourself, starving yourself and believing that weight is equal to health is indicative of a serious mental illness.

Your weight loss should be supervised by a doctor, 1000 calories sounds extremely dangerous to me and I would not expect a positive outcome from treating your body in this way.

I might be wrong but I don't think that depressed people cry, they are beyond caring, flat, dead inside, they aren't fighting like hell to improve their situation.

What you are doing requires a lot of discipline and strength, if you would just use that strength in way that is actually going to help you you would be doing so much better, I suggest you look into self love and validation etc and educate yourself properly NOT ON WEIGHT LOSS but HOW TO BE HEALTHY and focus your efforts there.

No matter how hard I try I can't seem to get the weight off. I'm exercising and dieting to no end. It's not working and I just feel like a shell of myself. I'm so fucking tired of being fat. I just want to end my life because no one gets how hard this is.

I lost 15lbs so I guess I'm at a plateau. But it's been months now. My daily maintenance kcal is around 1800 and I try to eat around 1000 cals a day.

Thats to much, aim for 400-500 under maintenance. You fuck your body up. It thinks you are in the desert somewhere and saving up energy.
Stay on it. Loosing weight is very difficult but when completed, very satisfying.

Time and persistents is key.

After seeking the Kingdom Of God, my depression vanished. But with regards to your issue losing weight, it's very likely your iodine intake is too low. Iodine is what your thyroid requires as you may know, and that is your body control centre for everything. All of the exercise in the world will be ineffective if your thyroid doesn't have the iodine to regulate your metabolism. Since the RDA is too low, I wouldn't trust levels deemed adequate in testing either.

Unfortunately your Doctor probably won't know anything. After all, if most of the population were iodine sufficient, he'd be out of business. The RDA levels are a joke.

From what I've learned so far, I think that forgetting God's promises, how He sees us, and His Word result in more sadness. Thus praying without consistent familiarization with His Word will never be enough.
