I started taking testosterone just a few months ago (natural deficiency). I was already gay before I started, but I've definitely noticed that becoming stronger.
Before, I could see some cute guy with an earing, think "hot," pay him for my coffee, and go about my day. Now, I have to be careful in public, or I can get flustered just trying to interact with men normally. They don't even have to look good. Just any man anywhere in my line of sight means I have to mind myself. It's frankly ridiculous. I'm almost glad I didn't have this spike happen as a teenager when it was supposed to.

I mentioned it to my doctor, and she said the intensity might go down some in time—but likey never back to where I started. She said it's expected when taking testosterone to have your attraction be much stronger, but especially towards men, which surprised me. I'd heard a theory that gay men just had low testosterone, and I sort of confirmed it in myself. Of course, that theory had no scientific basis, and now that my testosterone is at a normal level I'm significantly gayer. That's literally the opposite.
Anyway, it's not a huge deal, it was just interesting to me. It wasn't something I'd heard before, so I figured I'd share. That's all. Thanks for reading. ⭐
