I've been prescribed an antibiotics, but I'd like to know if I can take it with a steroid? Please help!! Anyone else just had them together?
Ask the doctor. They gave me something they called steroids as a kid and it was for my allergies. I'd snort it up my nose. So I'm guessing it's that kind of steroid maybe?
If it's like bodybuilder stuff... like what? Tren, Sarms, TRT, D-Bol? WebMD will break down the side effects to most things. I still say you should just talk with your doctor though. They'll advise you not to do anything, but if you're just like "I'm going to do some smack no matter what," then I would guess they'll advise you as best they can.

The answer to this question depends on the specific steroid, antibiotic, and the infection—but yes, in some cases, your physician may prescribe both drugs at the same time. The antibiotic targets bacteria and the steroid controls inflammation and resulting pain. For example, the steroid dexamethasone has proven effective in adults with bacterial meningitis, according to a study in The New England Journal of Medicine. The two are also often prescribed together for certain infections.

Okay so not a doctor or nurse or anything in the med field but yes you should be able to take them together if they are prescribed together. The pharmacist will check for interactions between the drugs. If you are concerned call the pharmacy and ask them to check for any intereactions between your two meds. They will know. So should you doctor if you want to call their office. I have taken them togetherr before and no issues.
im in healthcare--- steroid is prescribed to decrease inflammation and an antibiotic to fight bacteria/infection. if your Dr prescribed them then they are aware you are on both. and yes it is ok.

of course you can. i mean since you're already taking steroids and since you are asking a medical question on a stupid internet forum where nobody is actually qualified to give you an answer, you clearly aren't interested in what's actually healthy. so why give a shit?
It's common for them to be pescribed together. Two most common times are for bee stings or COPD flare-ups. People that get pneumonia will often times have them prescribed together also.
If the doctor prescribed you a steroid and antibiotic, they are both prescribed to help fight inflammation and infection, you can contact the doctor's office and ask them to put your mind at ease.
Google is your friend. So is your doctor's office. I don't think 7/8 of the people here have any clue.
Pretty sure there's many different steroids and many different antibiotics, you need a medical professional to know about drug interactions. Seek proper advice

Depends on steroids. Some will have sideffects, read the label.
This is a question for your doctor or maybe the pharmacist
Talk to a doctor or pharmacist. They're more qualified than randoms on GAG.
You can take different poisons and venoms to but I doubt you will be alive or not in the long run!
You should be asking a doctor or pharmacist not random anonymous people on the internet.

Ask a Pharmacist, not a bunch of people on the internet.
