Girls, Can you play sports with a regular bra or with no bra at all?

Is a sports bra a bra with quick drying materials? Why do you need special sports bras?

Nope. Mine are big enough that I have to have a sports bra for any sort of sport. Running and jumping or moving around latterly would hurt if I did have support. A regular bra would help a little but mine really need to be strapped in good in order to play sports. That's why they call them sports bras. It lessens the bouncing around by a lot. Otherwise they would be flopping around all over the place and that would hurt pretty bad.

Is it painful if you have to run to catch the train or run down the stairs, or only if you actually play sports?

Well a normal bra helps if I have have to run for something like a train but they still bounce around. Without one would be a nightmare. Don't Plat sports now but work out.

Depends on the sport. But anything that would involve bouncing, like running, going down stairs, skiing, I need one. That's a lot of weight to just be swinging around! Running and jumping without one would hurt and throw me off balance. Think of any sport you wouldn't want to play naked as a guy and would need to wear a jockstrap for, and I probably need a sports bra for those sports too

Ouch. Goodness, yes. Definitely need a sports bra unless you cross your arms.
