Food poisoning?

So my dumb ass ate a chicken wrap that was in a car for 2hr or possibly 3 hours when the head is 90’s to 102 outside. Didn’t even think of the time frame. Now I’m having nausea and dull stomach cramps. Did I just poison myself 😑

Happened to me 4-5 days ago.

I ate mushroom soup and then added gummy bears as my period cravings.

Got my period and had awful stomachache, have never had that bad stomachache due to period, then got stomachache that obviously wasn’t related to period.

As a girl, you do recognize where the pain comes from.

So, I got all these period and food poison stomachache together.

The next day my stomachache still persisted. I am all by myself here, so went to the doctor to make sure to treat it as soon as possible.

Got some medications and my stomach got back to normal yesterday and today.

But I will have to keep having diet to avoid such thing from happening again.

My silly self went out to work even though I was unwell and caught a virus there. Now I am laying in bed with 37.8 fever and thinking how silly I am that I wasn’t wearing a mask.

At least, I could give my body time to fully recover from that food poisoning before adding another hit on it.

You know what’s weird? Before the age of 26, viruses would just fly over my head. I don’t know what changed, nothing changed other than I went through a major break up.

healthcare worker here, sounds like a mild case of food poisoning, get yourself some ginger ale and for the cramps/upset stomach get, Emetrol (not if you are diabetic though) it is over the counter. if other symptoms appear like fever etc go right to the hospital, usually mild cases can be treated at home

Thank you! Definitely mild case as the issues are here 😂 sipping on ginger tea to soothe my gut.. definitely just throwing it away next time

What i would do is drink a lot of water, and force myself to puke and then eat some activated charcoal pills along with another portion of water. But i think its too late already after this was posted.

It is quite possible that you did. You should never eat something that was in a heated car that long.

Food doesn't spoil in two or three hours, it means it must have been spoiled before (not uncommon with food stands cutting corners).
