What ADHD really is? I'm confused cause I'm An INTP & they say they have symptoms of it?

How can I be sure if I have an ADHD or it's my Personality.

ADHD and ADD are an imbalance of transmitters and recievers in the brain.

ADHD people produce not enough transmitters, these chemicals dock into the recievers and transfer information, however as they don't have enough of these chemicals information get lost or delayed. They try to compensate for this and produce more chemicals by moving their body around, thats the hyperctive part.

ADD have too many of these chemicals making them focus and absorbing lots of information at once.

Both have nothing to do with personality and both need a real doctors diagnosis. You can take some onlike tests, but they only give you a rough idea.

It's all personality. If they are recommending medication to help, try it and see how you feel.

by the way, MBTI is not much better than astrology.

You need to have it diagnosed rather than trying to diagnose it yourself
