My doctor diagnosed me with "activity and attention disorder", does this mean ADHD?

Hey I have ADHD. You can still manage to live a normal life have a normal job. You just need a system to navigate. I love to help. In my personal experience. I live minimalist life is perfect for people with ADHD. Have updates on your calendar life changer. I got diagnosed at age 28 at first I had no idea what was wrong with me until I got my diagnosis that test was the answer to all of my questions. I prefer wearing all black pants and wear a cute nice shirt takes less time. You can always get organization containers make or even write labels. I don't own a lot of stuff only the things I need and it's made life less stressful. Let me know how I can help.
It means you have to pay more attention to a certain things you can concentrate on certain things but there are certain things that will come to you artistic things emotional things all that is is a label it means really nothing take it as it comes pay attention to it when you feel it happening turn it around take a deep breath quiet yourself go slower. There's so many different types and so many different types of diagnosed. And each doctor will tell you something different so if you keep saying that you have it then you will have it even deeper or more but if you say I could give a fucking care less I'm going to live my life I'll pay attention I'll try to treat it myself when something goes wrong or right and let it be this between you and it that's it nobody else nothing else don't let it hold you back when you start telling people this and that about it you're trying to hold yourself back don't do that go forward
Means the company that sells the drugs sends a rep to the doctor's office every week with a bunch of free food, free restaurant meal tickets, vacations and such. You probably won't believe it & that's okay.
I read a psychologists from the 70s who wrote that all mental disorders are caused by diet. And when they did studies on kids they found differences in diets causing ADD. Although from another angle, if watch the video in my "Zombie Apocalypse" mytake it explains how they mouse utopia experiment (done by the guy who invented the term autism) found an explosion of autism in the mice, back when it was very rare in the human population. Autism & adhd have a lot of similarities. Food for thought - no pun intended.
Any attention disorder exists on a kind of spectrum, yours doesn’t include hyperactivity so you didn’t get the H included. If you need help maintaining focus for daily tasks, it’s probably good to see about getting some medication to assist with that. Like if you hyper focus so much you forget to eat for 20 hours, or if you can never find the energy to do things that don’t interest you.

he means you have "stop looking at the social media and cell phone" disease".
How about take that information and figure out what is causing the underlying problem. The issue is emotional, food, hormonal, trauma. It's a lot of work to work on yourself, but that is the real answer isn't it?
My focus problem has nothing to do with any trams. I've just been a distracted person since childhood.
it can be passed on through generations. If you've seen children before born up to 3 years+, they are sponges... don't remember much at that age, but it's absorbed. Some of it may be environment and personality.
Basically yes. The two are technically different, but it's so subtle as to be meaningless to anyone not a mental health practitioner. The treatment is the same (ritalin/concerta usually) and people who are "normal" will still look at you funny.
They come up with names for every little subtlety these days. It's a little ridiculous in my opinion. Everyone can be diagnosed with some disorder now.
But a problem that has really made my life very difficult since my childhood is the lack of attention. This is not a normal problem for me. I unintentionally focus on too many things and I can't focus on just one thing. I do this involuntarily.
It means you need to fill your mental tool box with ways to pause and then stop your brain. Medication is effective but mental training is better
Yes, ADHD is his diagnosis. Depending on how severe it is, you can medicate or learn your limitations.
It can be from mild to devastating. Sound like you have a mild form but that is for a Dr. to figure out and prescribe meds or if they are not needed.
You are a person, not a diagnosis. Be that person. Find a way to cope and overcome, and make a beautiful life. You can fix this.
Yes it pretty much the same thing I have ADHD. I dont take meds though instead I play sports to burn of all of my extra energy
I would ask him to clarify your diagnosis. You have that right as a patient.
Yep, that is just about it.
Sorry I lost you. What?
I DON'T BELIEVE ANYONE HERE IS A DOCTOR
